Revenge is so sweet. Even though they aren’t all sweet and delightful, or even likeable in one case, I found them all remarkably enticing. And yes, I will be reading the sequel. The romance element is extremely messy though. And I don’t see at all what was to like about this book. There aren’t any zombies in this story, but there is a paranormal element. It’s not a book for carebears. She smokes, she’s a punk, she absolutely hates the rich townies and preppies at her school. But then that doesn’t explain the fact that Reeve and Rennie saw her too!

But I really loved both Kat and Lillia. Kat is obviously Buttercup.

I loved Kat’s attitude, while she wasn’t completely heart-less she had tough skin. Rennie tries to ruin Lillia by saying Lillia drugged him last Homecoming. God Rennie is a bitch. For now, it looks like they got away with it. It was a very massive cliffhanger indeed, and I’ve no doubt it’ll siobhah the wait for book two extremely painful.
